However, reports indicate that ChatGPT’s new image generator is producing images of “sexy men” but not “sexy women.” OpenAI CEO Sam Altman addressed this issue, describing it on Twitter as an apparent software “bug.”
Business Insider cited a software engineer who posted on Twitter, “New ChatGPT image gen can draw sexy men but not sexy women. The difference comes down to context and how content is interpreted in terms of sexualization and objectification, especially when it involves women.”
OpenAI said of the new service that with this upgrade, ChatGPT can now generate intricate images, including four-panel comic strips with custom characters and dialogue, based on precise user prompts.
