BiltOn, formerly called Beti, is an Israeli startup founded by former IDF special forces soldiers that offers construction site management software specializing in safety, labor management and quality assurance solutions. The firm raised $15 million in a Series B funding round, led by PSG Equity, a growth equity firm specializing in software and technology-enabled services, with additional participation from Titan Capital and 97212 Ventures.
As part of this funding, Jeff Wilpon, founding partner and CEO of Sterling Project Development, has joined BiltOn’s advisory board. Wilpon brings extensive experience in overseeing more than $10 billion worth of construction projects across various sectors.
Founded in 2018 in Tel Aviv CEO Omer Slavin, a fourth-generation to a family of contractors, and CPO Shir Mautner, BiltOn (Beti) provides construction developers and general contractors with a one-stop-shop solution for site management that assists them in addressing on-site safety and compliance issues, while simultaneously working to improve on-site efficiencies and boost productivity. Slavin and Mautner served together in the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) vaunted special forces unit called “Sayaret Matkal,” the reconnaissance unit under the direct command of the IDF Chief of Staff.
BiltOn (Beti) introduced a full suite of products, which includes safety, access control, quality assurance and process control, throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. Currently serving 300 customers across many sites, Beti’s customer base encompasses a number of Israel’s top 100 construction companies, including Shapir Engineering, BST Group, Ken Hator, Y.H. Dimri and Afcon Group.
Currently, BiltOn supports over 1,200 construction companies across more than 3,000 active job sites globally. The platform serves a wide range of construction verticals, including civil, industrial, commercial, residential, and healthcare sectors. Since launching in the U.S., the company has experienced growth and expanded its team to more than 70 employees. Among its clients are some prominent general contractors such as Consigli, Rudin, Hunter Roberts, SD Builders, and OKO Group.
BiltOn’s suite of tools is designed to help support smoother workflow management, enhance safety monitoring, and streamline compliance processes. The platform’s proprietary risk scoring system helps contractors manage potential risks on-site, offering real-time insights into workforce activity, permitting, and project safety. Although outcomes may vary, these capabilities are intended to assist in mitigating risks and improving overall project efficiency.
