Ananda reinventing the network, adapting organizational connectivity to a distributed workforce. A plug-and-play solution
Israeli network and security startup Ananda Networks is emerging from stealth with $6 million seed already in their pocket. The company’s service is available today.
Ananda Secure Global LAN (SG-LAN), is all about an automation platform with a Slack-like interface that allows companies to find the best internet connections as their own private networks. They can authorize and connect any user, devices, use cloud services in speed while keeping network security.
Seed funding comes from MizMaa Ventures, Citrix Systems, Gefen Capital, Cyber Mentor Fund, GreatPoint Ventures, South Korean cybersecurity firm Jiran, J-Ventures, and individual investors.
Founded in 2019 by CEO Adi Ruppin and Chief Joy Officer Elad Rave Ananda Networks based in San Fransisco. The two founders are serial entrepreneurs. Adi Ruppin is a co-founder of SofaWare Technologies, a firewall/UTM pioneer which was acquired by Check Point Software; BeInSync, acquired by Phoenix Technologies; WatchDox, a secure enterprise file sharing developer which acquired by BlackBerry, and Elad Rave is the founder of cloud WAN provider Teridion, Oxygen CG, TheServerExpress, Parthenos and Elenxos.
Ananda’s key features are:
- Faster speed: Ananda’s machine-learning connect any two nodes on the network optimally without backhauling traffic or forcing it through proxies, and leverages advanced communication protocols to provide unmatched performance and up to 60 times faster speed.
Ananda also delivers end-to-end encryption without entrusting communication to a third party and provides native zero-trust networking and micro-segmentation.
- End-to-end security: Ananda allows organizations to create their own fully private networks that are encrypted end-to-end, without entrusting their communication to a third party and provides native zero-trust networking and micro-segmentation.
- Simplicity: The Ananda service is fully cloud-managed, as easy to set up and use as a Slack channel or a group messaging app, and can replace multiple discrete solutions, such as firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and MPLS.
“While the world has changed, our network hasn’t,” said Adi Ruppin, co-founder and CEO of Ananda Networks. “To meet connectivity and security challenges, organizations have to put band-aid over band-aid, while experiencing lower performance and security with higher cost and complexity. Ananda is rebuilding the network from the ground up to solve the core problem rather than its symptoms. We are proud to be able to help people and organizations stay connected in these difficult times and to enjoy the highest level of speed, security, and simplicity, as if they are all on the same local area network. By doing so, we are realizing our mission to bring the world network bliss!”
