Israeli Startup Port Launches All-in-One Infrastructure Management Portal for Engineering Teams

Business

Port is an Israeli startup that offers a portal for engineering teams where they can access, check, review, understand and modify all their infrastructure resources and components. The firm raised $35 million in a Series B round of funding led by Accel, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and existing investors. Port has now raised a total of $58 million to date.

Founded in 2022 by CEO Zohar Einy and CTO Yonatan Boguslavski, Port says it has combined hundreds of years of DevOps knowledge with thousands of hours of research to transform the developer experience as the world sees it today. “Starting by building the Developer Portal that brings everyone together, and going forward as the developer experience forefront.”

Port’s founders are both veterans of the Israel Defense Forces’ elite 8200 intelligence unit.

Port’s developer portal streamlines the DevOps lifecycle, offering a unified platform for developers to manage their entire workflow. By integrating essential tools and processes into a user-friendly interface, the portal addresses the growing complexity of modern development roles.

As developers take on greater ownership of their work, including deployment, cloud management, and security, the need for efficient tools becomes paramount. The portal helps mitigate the challenges associated with these expanded responsibilities, reducing reliance on manual processes and external support. This ultimately leads to faster development cycles, improved quality, and enhanced security

“Development teams today are overwhelmed with responsibilities that extend far beyond writing code, leading to operational chaos and a degradation of standards,” said Zohar Einy, co-founder and CEO of Port. “Our mission is to empower teams to start left, ensuring that everything is secure, compliant, and high-quality by design. Port provides a dynamic, customizable platform that fits into each company’s DNA and evolves with their needs, enabling all stakeholders — from developers to security teams to leadership — to collaborate effectively and maintain organizational standards. Port empowers teams to be self-sufficient owners of the software they develop, restoring agility and driving significant business impact.”
