According to ABC Australia, videos of the procession online showed people lying dead on a road, with others screaming while trying to help them.
Soleimani’s burial was delayed over concerns about the massive crowd that had gathered, ISNA reported.

IRNA only reported that “thousands of the people from both the capital and other cities of Kerman province in the south of the country have already gathered in the main square of the city of Kerman to welcome the body of the slain General,” and that “People are chanting slogans that echo their wrath towards the US and promise revenge from those who planned and carried out the assassination,” but no word about the stampede.
