Donald Trump is set to hold an indoor Election Night bash at the White House with as many as 400 people likely to be invited, according to the New York Times and Reuters.
The election night party was first planned for the Trump International Hotel in Washington, But Trump has made some changes. He will host a party in the East Room of the White House, the largest in the presidential mansion. Around 400 people, all of whom will be tested for the coronavirus, will be invited to gather inside the largest room in the White House.
Despite coronavirus restrictions in Washington, D.C. Trump said Friday “So we have a hotel. I don’t know if it’s shut down if you’re allowed to use it or not, but I know the mayor has shut down Washington, D.C. And if that’s the case, we’ll probably stay here or pick another location. I think it’s crazy. Washington, D.C., is shut down. Can you imagine?”
