Actress Naya Rivera, best known for playing on Fox’s hit musical comedy-drama “Glee,” was found dead Monday morning at 9:10 a.m. in the northeastern portion of the Lake Piru. She was 33.
Rivera went missing on Wednesday after she rented a boat at Lake Piru in Ventura County in the afternoon. At night her 4-year-old son, Josey, was found sleeping alone on a boat. The area had been searched extensively with sonar equipment and divers.
After an extensive search of the lake, Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said at a press conference, that he was “confident” that the body found floating on the lake was Rivera’s.
