In a bold affirmation of cutting-edge battlefield innovation, Smartshooter and IEA Mil-Optics GmbH have secured a substantial follow-on order to equip the German Armed Forces with a mid-three-digit quantity of SMASH fire control systems. This latest procurement underscores the mounting trust of global military powers in Smartshooter’s revolutionary targeting technology, which is reshaping the future of precision warfare.
Utilizing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning, SMARTSHOOTER has developed the SMASH Fire Control System, a breakthrough in small arms technology. This system provides exceptional accuracy for engaging diverse targets, day or night, and seamlessly integrates into tactical networks for enhanced real-time situational awareness. The result is a significant increase in weapon lethality and a reduction in friendly casualties and collateral damage.
The SMASH 2000L (3000) is the latest and most advanced fire control system by SMARTSHOOTER. All operational and technical insights from previous versions were incorporated into the system, making it even more effective while enabling significant weight and size reduction.
Its proprietary target acquisition and tracking algorithms are integrated with sophisticated image-processing software into a rugged hardware solution, providing an easy-to-use and cost-effective solution that creates the required overmatch.
SMARTSOOTER is an independent technology company founded in 2011 located in northern Israel to develop cutting edge systems to increase the accuracy and lethality of small arms used by army and law enforcement professionals around the world. Fire control solutions developed by the company’s team of engineers are already making an operational difference, increasing mission effectiveness and helping soldiers to keep the peace by getting in the first shot and making it count.
“On today’s battlefield, precision is not just an advantage—it is a necessity,” said Michal Mor, CEO of Smartshooter. “We are honoured by the continued trust of the German Armed Forces in our SMASH technology and see this order as a testament to its operational value.”
