Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara have released to the public the message of congratulations they sent last Thursday to young Moshe Holtzberg on the occasion of his bar mitzvah at Kfar Chabad.

Moshe was the sole survivor of a brutal, lethal terror attack by 10 operatives of the Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taibe terror organization who carried out a four-day bloodbath in Mumbai 11 years ago. Moshe’s parents were killed, as were four other people who were there at the time in the Nariman Chabad House they ran together in Mumbai.

“We know that there is life amidst this tragedy. There is revival and there is hope. You come now with the love of the entire Jewish people, all citizens of Israel and very many outside Israel. I would like to wish for you that you will always be faithful to your people, your country and your family, and that you continue with a good and happy life. Mazel tov, Moshe!”

The prime minister’s wife Sara also had a special message for the bar mitzvah boy. “Mazel tov Moshe,” she said. “We know that you suffered a terrible disaster when you were two. From that age you have been fighting every day to carry on with life. But you are surrounded by so much love from your grandparents. All Israel is with you.”
