A record heat wave has warmed the Land of Israel so far this month, with temperatures ranging in the high 20s to above 30 degrees celsius across the country for the past five days.
The last time temperatures were this high in the month of November was at least nine years ago.

History was made at that time when the deadliest forest fire in the history of the state struck beautiful Mount Carmel in the northern Israeli city of Haifa, where 44 people lost their lives.
The unusually long heat wave that blanketed Israel in November 2010 lasted for nearly three weeks.
So far this month, the hot desert air that has blown in from Saudi Arabia and Jordan has lasted just five days; but meteorologists say it is expected to continue for at least another week.
