Jan Koum Bought Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Beverly Hills Home For $125 Million

Business

Jeffrey Katzenberg sold his luxurious custom built estate in Beverly Hills for $125 million last month. Now Variety reports that the buyer was none other than WhatsApp founder Jan Koum. Katzenberg bought the property 10 years ago for $35,000,000.

Could Jeffrey Katzenberg be in need of some cash these days because his Quibi live streaming service hasn’t taken off as well as hoped?

Located on a 6.34-acre hilltop estate in Beverly Hills, the mansion has more than 26,000 square feet of space and is U-shaped. It has 5 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. Talk about status symbols.

Before Mr. Katzenberg upgraded the property it had 8,704 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 1 fireplace and a 5-car garage.
