Is Ivanka Trump just saying this for political reasons?
First Daughter Ivanka Trump has come out as opposed to abortion. The Democrat had been pro-choice in the past.
Some people are wondering what it was that caused Ivanka to change her mind on such a politically charged issue. Others are wondering why anyone should care what she thinks.
In an interview with Real Clear Politics Ivanka Trump said, “I respect all sides of a very personal and sensitive discussion, but I am also a mother of three children, and parenthood affected me in a profound way in terms of how I think about these things. I am pro-life, and unapologetically so.”
Really Ivanka? And you waited until five days before the election to say this.
Are you actually expecting people to believe that your words are not intended just to please the Republican Party’s anti-abortion corps base of support? Or could this really be about last minute fundraising for President Trump.
Ivanka Trump just so happens to have been in Michigan in the closing days of the campaign. It was one of the three states which famously flipped for Trump last time and gave him the election. This time the President must win in Michigan if the polls in other states are accurate.
The Hill reports that Ivanka Trump raised $13 million for her father’s campaign last weekend at fundraisers held in California. This comes after it was widely reported that the Trump 2020 campaign is out of money for new television commercials in important regions while the Biden campaign is flush with cash.

Apparently Ivanka is no smarter than her husband Jared Kushner when it comes to thinking before speaking. With absolutely no sense of irony, she decried the loss of civilized “agree to disagree” debate in America as if she has no idea about the constant slurs and bullying her father disseminates every day on Twitter.
“One of the things that we’ve lost in this nation is an ability to respectfully disagree and debate,” Ivanka said. Really?
“Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsburg are great examples of two people who represented totally different ends of the ideological spectrum and yet were the best of friends and were able to come together and have civilized disagreements and arguments.”
Who is she trying to kid? Since her father first declared his candidacy more than five years ago neither he nor anyone who has worked for him in Washington has made any effort at civility.
Or maybe Ivanka Trump is already looking ahead to her own future in politics. While both she and her husband Jared Kushner are registered Democrats, neither will have any future in that party after their close association with Donald Trump.
She has been pushing pictures of herself with cops on social media lately.

If Ivanka is serious about pursuing politics then don’t look for her to move back to New York after her father leaves office. She will probably take her family south to Florida or South Carolina where Republicans have a great deal of support.
