Hilarious: Seth Meyers’ Closer Look into Trump’s hydroxychloroquine claims

Seth Meyers in Tuesday night’s A Closer Look took the viewers a hilarious journey into Donald Trump’s head. The president claimes that he’s taking an anti-malaria medication hydroxychloroquine, as a preventative treatment for coronavirus despite a deficiency of evidence for cure or even warnings of severe side effects.

“I’m really having a hard time wrapping my head around this,” said Meyers, “either [his doctors] gave him hydroxychloroquine or he’s lying about taking it, and honestly, I’m not sure which is more psychotic.”

Trump’s original thoughts on whether flu vaccines to household disinfectants might be effective against COVID-19 or Trump’s vitamin was “personalized” based on a mailed-in urine sample made the Late Night host joke: “You gotta be careful, man. People your age get a lot of scam calls. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out the White House had a reverse mortgage on it.”
