Is Jared Kushner A Racist? He just Made A Suspect Comment About African Americans?

Business

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner also threaten a lawsuit over a mock billboard ad.

Jared Kushner, husband of First Daughter Ivanka Trump and by sheer coincidence also a senior advisor to President Donald Trump, had a somewhat controversial appearance on Fox News yesterday. Many are even going so far as to ask if his comments on African Americans were not racist.

While this is happening, he and wife Ivanka Trump are most worried about a billboard.

A billboard?! Yah that’s right. Place your incredulity emoji here.

The United States is suffering from the Corona Virus with more than 200,000 deaths so far, not to mention the economic disaster that the country faces because of it.

Daddy Donald Trump is having a very public meltdown while trailing in the polls to Joe Bien with just a week to go until Election Day.

Everyday people and small businesses are suffering in their home town of New York City.

But never mind all of that. A billboard in Manhattan has insulted little Ivanka and Jared.

The Lincoln Project – a group of Republicans who oppose the reelection of President Trump – placed the two side by side ads in the middle of Times Square. The one of Ivanka has the photo she released in support of Goya in which she is holding a can of their beans. But next to the picture is a list of total Covid-19 deaths and cases in America to date.

Jared is shown next to body bags with his own words about New Yorkers needing to deal with the Covid pandemic crisis on their own because they are to blame for what happened in the city.

Marc E. Kasowitz, a lawyer who represents the couple, called the ads “false, malicious and defamatory. “If these billboards are not immediately removed, we will sue you for what will doubtless be enormous compensatory and punitive damages.”

Well boo hoo!

Talk about thin skinned

Well Mr. Kushner may now have too much on his plate to even care about a law suit right now after his disastrous appearance on Fox news on Monday.

So what exactly did he say?

“One thing we’ve seen in a lot of the Black community, which is mostly Democrat, is that President (Donald) Trump’s policies are the policies that can help people break out of the problems that they’re complaining about,” Jared Kushner said Monday morning on Fox News. “But he can’t want them to be successful more than they want to be successful.”

And he called the killing of George Floyd by the police the “George Floyd situation.”

“They’d go on Instagram and cry, or they would put a slogan on their jersey or write something on a basketball court,” he said, an apparent reference to N.B.A. players like LeBron James who joined national protests over the issue of police brutality. “And quite frankly, that was doing more to polarize the country than it was to bring people forward,” he said. “You solve problems with solutions.”

AZFamily.com spoke to local black attorney Lawrence Robinson who went to law school with Kushner who said, “To assume that everybody else of a different color or ethnicity just doesn’t want to work hard, to me says he doesn’t know many people in that ethnicity, and frankly doesn’t know his history of this nation. He just seems really out of touch.”

Gwen Moore, a Black Democrat from Wisconsin tweeted, “Trust fund baby slumlord Kushner who has enriched himself in the WH takes the silver spoon out of his mouth long enough to insert his foot with a racist trope about Black people and success.”

The Democratic National Committee smelling blood stated, “This dismissive approach to the issues that Black voters care about is indicative of Trump’s callousness and disregard for the lives of Black people.”

Kushner also praised President Trump for the recent peace agreements reached between Israel and several Arab countries. Forgetting all of the other participants in these treaties and the work that they did, The First Son-in-Law implied that Donald Trump did all the work alone in a vacuum saying that such peace agreements “are much harder than President Trump is making them look.”

Wow!

In defense of his father-in-law who is trailing with only a week to go before the Presidential elections, Jared Kushner added, “people have been very critical of the president over the last three years for whatever he does, but the reality is he’s taken a different approach on how to deal with Washington, he took a different approach in the Middle East and he’s put up results.”

“You can’t argue with the results that he’s achieved,” Kushner said.
