Insight Partners, led the financing round, investing in high-growth technology and software companies that are driving transformative change in their industries.
Israeli cybersecurity company SentinelOne has raised $200 million at a company valuation of more than $1.1 billion. The company sells a product to supplant traditional antivirus software.
The financing round was led by global venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners, with participation from Tiger Global Management, Qualcomm Ventures LLC, Vista Public Strategies of Vista Equity Partners, Third Point Ventures and previous investors which includes Ashton Kutcher with Guy Oseary.
SentinelOne raised $120 million 9 months ago (June 2019). The company has raised $430 million in total.
Founded by CEO Tomer Weingarten and Almog Cohen who is no longer active in the company in 2013, SentinelOne has developed a platform based on artificial intelligence (AI) to secure end points including PCs, laptops, servers, cloud servers and IoT devices. The company can identify anomalies in big data in real-time. It also provides a response to attacks and even prevent them from using machine learning.
SentinelOne has 500 employees, 150 of them at its Israel development center.
