Israeli Security Forces Arrest 7 Infiltrators From Jordan

Highway approaching Eilat. The Arava Valley along the Jordanian border stretches 180 km from Eilat in the south to the tip of the Dead Sea in the north.

Israeli security forces arrested seven suspects on Saturday after they crossed into Israeli territory from Jordan.

“”This morning, IDF forces identified seven suspects crossing from Jordan into territory of the State of Israel,” the IDF said in a statement.

“IDF fighters, in cooperation with Israeli police and security forces, located and arrested the suspects, who were then transferred to security forces for further investigation.”

There was no information released on where the infiltrators were captured, nor whether they were armed.
