Donald Trump to Start His Own Social Media Network

There is also talk of Trump being indicted.

You can’t keep Donald Trump out of the public eye for long. The man was banned by Twitter and is under suspension from Facebook. People have speculated as to how he can even live without being able to mouth off every ten minutes of social media. Well now we have an answer: Donald Trump is starting his own social media company.

It is not clear yet, however, what form the new company will take. Will it be another Twitter? Facebook? Will it be just for Trump and his minions? Or will it be like conservative social media platforms such as Telegram. Unlike Facebook and Twitter, Telegram did not censor its users’ posts after the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. It was because of this, in part, that major companies denied it use of their servers.

Trump senior adviser Jason Miller told Fox News’ “#MediaBuzz” on Sunday about it. “I do think that we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here, with his own platform,” said Miller. “And this is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media, it’s going to completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does.”

Donald Trump’s history of failure might serve as an indicator of what whether or not this new business will succeeded. He failed miserably in the 1980s when Trump went into the airline business and also single handedly brought down the new U.S.F.L. football league. Then there are his three failed Atlantic City casinos, Trump steaks, Trump vodka… Or maybe it will just be a scam like Trump University.

Meanwhile, the former President might be looking at criminal charges in connection with the January 6th riot. Michael Sherwin is the former acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia and he is now leading the investigation into the events of January 6. He spoke out in an interview with “60 Minutes” which aired on Sunday.

“It’s unequivocal that Trump was the magnet that brought the people to DC on the 6th,” Sherwin told “60 Minutes.” “We have soccer moms from Ohio that were arrested saying, ‘Well, I did this because my president said I had to take back our house.’ That moves the needle towards that direction. Maybe the President is culpable for those actions.”

Sherwin also stated that Trump could be, “criminally culpable for everything that happened during the siege.”
